F.A.S.T Learning Program is focused on building students' reading and comprehension skills. It is a balanced literacy program for all students in the classroom. It allows students' reading skills to grow in phonetics and reading for meaning, plus it increases their comprehension in making inferences, drawing conclusions, and sequencing events.
F.A.S.T. is an acronym for Foundations of Analysis, Synthesis and Translations, the three actions of our brain during reading. It is also a reference to how quickly students increase their confidence and motivation to read. F.A.S.T Learning will enhance students' reading and comprehension because it is a holistic program designed for all learners.
